Inside-Out Meets Outside-In: Coaching to shift your beliefs and your calendar. You’ll build the internal permission to take up space, plus the tactical systems to protect it.
Customized time-management tools: Instead of downloading another to-do list app that you’ll never use, we’ll customize time-management tools that work for your brain, your life, and family rhythms.

Hi! I’m May (pronounced “My”). I’m a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with over 1,800 hours of coaching hours completed, and ongoing training in evidence-based, psychology-informed approaches to behavior change and personal development.
I’ve received regular expert training on well-being, leadership, conflict resolution, and productivity, and I’m a certified Fair Play Facilitator, bringing you practical tools that are research-backed, real-life tested, and deeply human.

Can I attend with my partner?
Yes. In addition to 1:1 coaching, I also do couples coaching. Just check the “couples coaching” option in the application.
Is this only for partnered moms?
Nope. Single moms are welcome, and targeted help for single moms is within the purview of Lighten the Load.
I’m not a mom! I’m a nonbinary parent or dad. But I still want to coach with you! Do you know how to get results for people like me?
Yep! I coach dads and nonbinary parents often, and I’d love to work with you.
I’m not a parent at all. But for some reason I want to work with you. Can I?

Is this coaching like therapy?
Coaching can sometimes feel like therapy, in that you’re talking to a professional about your life and feelings.
BUT therapy is about healing and is a clinical space; Lighten the Load coaching is about creating personal and structural change to get you the result of feeling calm, rested, and present in your life as a busy mom. This work is action-oriented, forward-focused, and rooted in real-life tools.
Lighten the Load is a helpful option for those already in therapy but still feeling stuck, or for women who are ready for the next step after attending therapy.
I’ve read the books and used chore charts. What makes this different?
Having knowledge is different from having tailored support that applies that knowledge to your life in a systemic way. Lighten the Load coaching combines a tested system (Fair Play) with a deeply customized, nonjudgmental approach that accounts for your lived reality. It’s not more information. It’s implementation—with an expert in your corner.
What if I don’t feel on top of it, or rested, or present in my life (or get any results) from this coaching?
Lighten the Load is designed to make results inevitable due to regular check-ins on progress and expert coaching.
However, results are not guaranteed, and refunds are not available.
Results depend on your exact situation, you attending coaching sessions and making changes between sessions (actions can be small / customized to your life, but they are actions nonetheless), and sudden life changes.
In some cases, moms decide to book additional sessions to get the results they want.
What if I don't have time for this?
This program is designed for moms who feel like they have no time.
You’re already spending time juggling, resenting, and holding it all. This coaching gives you tools to get that time back. It’s not another thing on your plate; it’s how you clear space on the plate entirely.
Do I have to commit to the full $2000 upfront?
