I help women work through their workplace resentment and build a fulfilling career.

I'm May Flam (pronounced "My"), and I help women build careers in which they are supported and nurtured.
After moving from Israel to Dallas, Texas at age 11, I spent most of my time getting perfect grades and trying to assimilate into the culture around me. As an immigrant, I didn't have the luxury of thinking about my vision for adulthood. I was just trying to get through the day.
School served as an anchor for me in the US. In high school and college, getting a 4.0 made me feel accomplished, though I had no idea "how to live" outside of being a perfect student.
Needless to say, my foray into the professional world was not smooth. While I excelled in my roles in online advertising, and later in non-profit world, I wasn't passionate about my career, and my time at work felt wasted.
I came to coaching first as a client, wondering what could be possible in my career.
I had always excelled at coaching my colleagues in how to handle difficult clients, or how to have a tricky conversation with their boss. After getting honest with myself about my strengths and passions, I realized that this is where I can be of service in my career.
Now, as a career coach for women, I am finally in my right role.
Since becoming a career coach in 2016, I've helped countless women understand the source of their resentment and frustration at work, and take practical steps to build workplace fulfillment.
As someone who did not get this type of mentorship growing up, it's been incredibly fulfilling to help women thrive in the workplace.

What is coaching?
Coaching is a creative process by which you and I, together, inspire you to maximize your potential at work. Unlike a psychologist, I do not diagnose mental health conditions or prescribe treatment. Unlike a career consultant or counselor, I do not tell you what you should do or how you should act at work. Instead, we have a collaborative process.
